About Taylor

Taylor grew up in Kingwood, earning all-district honors on the high school diamond before playing his college baseball at Texas A&M University–Kingsville while studying accounting and finance. His career there was one for the record books — literally. Playing pitcher and first base, he set numerous school records and was named the program's Player of the Decade. His honors include Conference Player of the Year, South Central Region Player of the Year, Daktronics First-Team All-American, and Rawlings All-American. In 2013 he was named Texas Collegiate Player of the Year and finished runner-up for National Player of the Year. Away from the facility, Taylor enjoys traveling and catching live sporting events.
